For optimal performance, we recommend sealing your peel with food safe oil. Our Boards are sealed with food grade walrus oil ** but mineral oil works great too.

Regular application will preserve wood and prevent it from drying out. This will also prevent bacteria from growing in engraved spaces. Do not use vegetable or olive oil. These oils will go rancid.
